![]() I pre made this post, so I’ll be enjoying my holiday. Have a good Fourth of July and make sure to step back from social media and spend time with loved ones. If I missed any insane facts, let me know in the comments. That concludes my list of the Craziest MJ Stats I could find. It is one of the most impressive seasons ever, so I just had to include something about it on this list. This happened during his legendary 1987-88 season, which he won the DPOY and MVP in as well. (Bonus Stat that I came up with) MJ is the only player to have won a Dunk Contest and a All Star game MVP in the same weekend. He didn’t just have one great run in the 90s, he was dominant throughout his whole entire career, even the seasons where he didn’t win it all. Not much to explain here, just another stat showcasing the consistency and greatness of Jordan. According to statistical analysis, 13 of Michael Jordan’s 15 seasons rank among the top 20 Seasons All Time. The weird thing is that the Bulls went 5-6 in these games, so triple doubles don’t always amount to wins. Could MJ have been the greatest point guard ever? This stat seems to think so. Michael Jordan was forced to play Point Guard for 11 games. 2001-02 Season: Jordan joining the Wizards at the end of his career had many believing that the GOAT would tarnish his legacy, though he was still an impressive player on the court. Somehow, Jordan was able to accomplish it. Playing 82 games in a season is hard enough, and doing it at 40 is nearly impossible. Many people forget about Jordan’s Wizards days, but what he did was impressive at an old age. John Stockton is the only other player to do that. In Michael Jordan’s 40 year old season, he played 82 games. Yet another crazy stat to add to his massive list. In that game, he still scores 8 points, which is not bad considering the amount of time he played. In his only game with less than 10, he only played 16 minutes due to a minutes restriction because of an injury. In all of Jordan’s games with the Bulls(1,288,) he only scored less than 10 points once. Who knows what he could have done if he stuck with number 12! 2. In that game, he dropped 49 points, and his averages in number 23 and 45 don’t come close to that. He wore this after his jersey was stolen, so he borrowed a number 12 jersey. Many people knew he wore number 45, but few people know that he once wore number 12. ![]() Michael Jordan’s best number was number TWELVE?!?!! Everybody knows MJ wore number 23. Without further a do, I present to you the 5 craziest MJ stats I could find. Check that post out if you’re interested in what it is, though. It will probably be my last post about crazy stats for a little bit, because I like to diversify my content. Jordan injured his knee in the final game before the All-Star break and prior to that, he was one of just two players averaging at least 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists ( Kobe Bryant ). This was requested in the comments of my last post, which is why I’m making this. ![]() Source: basketball-reference.The 5 Craziest Michael Jordan Stats I Could Find Welcome back everybody, and today I have compiled a list of the 5 Craziest MJ stats I could find. ![]() Many other conferences also tested with the line during this season, but again, only within their respective conference competition.ĭenotes seasons in which Jordan won an NBA championship During his sophomore season, the three-point line was tested within ACC play.
